My life has been a bit of a roller coaster ride for the past week. I spent four days in Kansas with my good buddies in Romanza, rehearsing and performing our old show in  the town of Hutchinson. It was lots of fun connecting with those guys again, I didn’t get nearly enough sleep… (which usually happens when I’m with those two). Then it was back to the west coast to prepare for the big concert at the Orpheum in Vancouver. I feel a little behind the eight ball as there are so many last minute things to do, but my voice seems to be in great shape. There are lots of great seats available for the show – apparently Vancouver is a last minute ticket buying town. Just a reminder to you all, tickets are now on sale at ticketmaster for my March 21st show in Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.

On March 5^th I got a surprising phone call from David Foster’s office in LA.

It appears as though our efforts at getting the word out are beginning to pay off. David Foster has invited me to join him in LA in April to perform at a private function. He’s asked me to sing “Because We Believe,” and “Italia” – and David himself will accompany me on piano! Needless to say I’m excited and nervous. Actually, I’m just really looking forward to seeing the sun down there because it’s still snowing up here

Tickets are now on sale at ticketmaster for my March 21st show in Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre. This concert features the exciting sounds of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra under the baton of conductor Simon Capet. I’ll be performing many of the same great songs I performed with New York Pops Orchestra at Carnegie hall. I’m so pleased that the first concert after Carnegie hall will be closer to home on the west coast. I really hope that everyone who had supported my efforts to get to Carnegie Hall, through words of encouragement and generous donations will be able to attend! It certainly is a beautiful hall…. ah so much better if it was full!
