Global TV spot

February 1, 2009

Tonight Global TV’s 16:9 aired a segment on my concert at Carnegie Hall.  They came last Wednesday, which is Grace’s birthday, to do the filming.  Carolyn Jarvis and camera man Geoff were a treat to work with and talk to, and I was pleased with the results tonight (I don’t know how through all my stutters and stammers i managed to come off  sounding half way intelligent).  After the segment aired, Alice and I did a live blog chat with some viewers and producers.  If you didn’t get to see the clip, and you’d like to, you can see it on Global’s 16:9 website.

Also, last Thursday, Alice and I were proud to take our donation from Carnegie Hall down to the Victoria chapter of the BCPA (British Columbia Paraplegic Association).  While we didn’t actually break even from the concert in NYC, we were still able to make a donation to both the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, as well as the BCPA.

Just saw the airing of 16:9 and loved it. Had to check out your website. You know that someone is in love with music and it’s part of them when you see what you’ve done. Affects one to the soul. Great job and good luck – it’s in you and it will bring you there.
